Ms. Sears is president of Intelsat General, where she is responsible for implementing the company’s strategic and operational plans and supporting their overall mission. Sears has more than 22 years of experience in the satellite communications industry including extensive experience in rapid response solutions for U.S. Government military and civilian agencies. Previously, she helped launch government services business units at G2 Satellite Solutions and Verestar, and held sales and product development positions with Intelsat and Comsat World Systems. Sears earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Richmond, and a master's degree in business administration from George Washington University.
