The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) will co-sponsor the "Reception in Celebration of New Generation Space Leaders", a relaxiong evening of music to conclude the 29th National Space Symposium.
This reception will be held immediately following the Space Technology Hall of Fame® dinner on April 11 and will be held in the Main Ballroom of The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. All Space Symposium attendees are invited to attend the reception and welcome a "New Generation" of space professionals. No additional registration is required to attend the reception.
Based in Vienna, Austria, SGAC is a non-governmental organization representing students and young space professionals in the space sector to the United Nations, space agencies, industry and academia. SGAC has permanent observer status in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), and was conceived at the Third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Space (UNISPACE-III) in Vienna in 1999. SGAC currently has a network of 4,000 university students and young professionals in the space sector in over 90 countries.
