Mr. Harold Sanborn

Mr. Sanborn is energy program manager at Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) in Champaign, Ill. He leads initiatives in joint service installation energy strategies and develops innovative energy supply, distribution and demand technologies, including renewable resources through contracting and program management with technology providers. His most visible program is Smart Power Infrastructure Demonstration for Energy Reliability and Security (SPIDERS). SPIDERS JCTD leverages his ability to handle multifaceted hybrid contracting, multi-year fiscal management, along with cyber secure energy controls for mission assurance on our military installations. Sanborn earned a bachelor of science degree in public administration from Central Michigan University.
