Mr. Bill Nye

Mr. Nye is a scientist, engineer, comedian, author and inventor. He is the host of three currently-running PBS television series. Nye is also a professor for the Frank H. T. Rhodes Visiting Professorship, often teaching at Cornell University. He has made a number of award winning shows, including the show he became so well known for, “Bill Nye the Science Guy.” The Science Guy show ran on PBS stations. He has written five children’s books about science. Previously, Nye was an engineer at Boeing. Nye earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
